What is the Queens of Self Protection mission ?
At Queens of Self Protection, our mission is to empower women to reclaim their confidence, safety, and independence through holistic self-protection training.
We go beyond physical techniques to build awareness, resilience, and prevention skills, equipping every woman with the mindset and abilities to protect herself with strength and assurance in any situation.

Meet Jennie
Founder of Queens of Self Protection
When it comes to personal safety and self-defence, I understand how important it is to trust the person coaching you. This kind of training is deeply personal, and finding the right guide — someone who understands not just the techniques, but the why behind them — makes all the difference.
My name is Jennie, and I created Queens of Self Protection to give women the skills, strength, and self-belief to feel safe, capable, and confident in their everyday lives.
My coaching combines years of experience in combat sports, ladies’ self-defence, and personal security, with a trauma-informed, confidence-led approach that puts you at the centre. I don’t just teach blocks and strikes — I teach situational awareness, boundary setting, threat avoidance, and how to trust your instincts.
I’ve trained under some of the most respected names in the industry, including Peter Consterdine, one of the UK’s leading authorities on self-protection. Peter is the co-founder of the British Combat Association and a former bodyguard to royalty, diplomats, and international clients. His approach to reality-based self-defence has shaped much of the modern thinking around personal security — and I’m proud to have completed his certified Self Defence Award program.
This isn’t about fear — it’s about freedom. I’m here to help you build the physical and emotional tools to move through the world with strength, certainty, and control.

Our signature weekend retreat blends powerful self-defence training with restorative practices, confidence-building sessions, and deep connection with other strong, like-minded women.
